Today's piece is a practice - trying to use color pencil with delicacy to create layers of color. As I worked I kept thinking I was tickling the paper to create transitions from one color to the next and get the results I wanted. Though the photo does not capture this particularly well, I love the depth of colors that were achieved. Easy and fun and very relaxing.
