Aa is for Abstract Art
Today's art was inspired by yesterday's Roller Coaster and a question on a Colored Pencil artists page I follow. "Does anyone do abstracts in colored pencil?" I do - and this proves yet again that I am far more comfortable working in abstract - playing with color and shapes - than I am trying to make something that looks exactly like something.
Anyway, this is part of a larger piece - on black sand paper. The colors and rich texture make this a pleasure to work on.
